What is indoor beach volleyball?

Indoor beach volleyball is a fun, competitive and social sport, played on an indoor sand court, that is enclosed with nets. Two teams play against each other, in a modified version of the traditional game of volleyball, where the ball is deemed live at all times due to the ability to rebound of the nets and prevent the ball from going out of bounds.
Teams will vary in size, but the game is usually played with 2-a-side, 4-a-side or 6-a-side configurations, and can be divided into competitions by gender, age or grade.
The best part of indoor beach volleyball is that it can be enjoyed by and shared with all skill and commitment levels, with social league competitions across multiple skill level divisions, elite-level competitive tournaments, or simply as a casual play and practice environment.
